We do this by providing education, training and advice around service development and specific skill development for doctors, nurses, health service providers and emergency departments to better identify and respond to the needs of older people with complex health care needs.
GEMA provide courses to all staff who work with older patients in acute health settings.
GEMA provide a range of resources and links for acute healthcare practitioners to assist in staff training, service development, design and delivery of care aimed at meeting the needs of older people.
